Shopping in Colwyn Bay offers something for everyone…..

A great place for locals and visitors to shop.  With a prime location just off the A55 opposite the ocean, Colwyn Bay offers stunning buildings, beautiful scenery and high end fashion shops as well as many local independent shops that you don’t find in the bigger cities.

Along the main high street you will find many unique shops including; florists, greengrocers, newsagents, ladies and gents clothing, hardware, furniture, hairdressers, and numerous cafes. There is something for absolutely everyone, with prices to suit all.  The main high street offers wide streets, well maintained buildings and parking on and around the High Street.

Just off the A55 at junction 21 is the Bay view Shopping Centre.  A fantastic indoor shopping mall with over 20 shops and places to dine and relax. The Bay View is a great place to catch up with friends and family, whilst shopping in a warm stress-free environment.  They also offer fabulous events for the family and a variety of competitions through out the year.

The Farmers Markets is another unique contribution to Colwyn Bay’s shopping directory. This market runs every Thursday 9am – 2pm, and offers fresh locally produced products straight from the farms. Fresh vegetables, welsh meat, honey, jams, local cheeses, pastries, fish, grown plants and even handmade furniture and cards. Unlike a lot of processed, genetically modified foods found in supermarkets, all the produce here is GM free and totally fresh.   What better way to support the local food industry?. Located in the Bay View Shopping Centre car park

There is also a more traditional market held every Tuesday and Saturday in the pedestrian area of the town centre.

Other shopping areas close to Colwyn Bay include Rhos-on-Sea which is a lovely location opposite the harbour, and has a range of gift shops, cafes, kiosks and restaurants.

Llandudno, (Wales’s most popular tourist destination) is also another great place to shop. The recently opened Llandudno Parc, south of the main high street, offers shoppers an array of high street shops and ample free parking.  The high street is also another great place to wander and pick up some bargains.  With numerous cafes, gift shops, clothing retailers, the list goes on….

What ever you need I’m sure you will be able to find it in Colwyn Bay or the surrounding areas.
